The Cisco Hyperinnovation Living Labs, known as "CHILL", and its employees are being consolidated and moved, Cisco confirmed to the Business Journal on Monday.

It neither accelerated product development nor generated millions in revenues directly. If that was really the case, it would have been kept. But, as a set of proof-of-concept workshops arranged for small groups of enterprise customers with the naive view that Cisco was relevant in helping these companies build apps in their core business, the axe-person was always going to turn up with the move to Engineering...

I think you meant to say “coffers”. Do you think the execs doing the pilfering will one day say “wow, that was great how we were able to line our pockets” or “that was really F’d how I selfishly made money by screwing over so many people and am donating my earnings to feed those ex-Cisco employees”?

Cool girl, red hair, hip... Who would have thought that wouldn’t be enough to justify burning cash in a BU called CHILL. Fact is stranger than fiction. Cisco should just age gracefully rather than continue this half assed fight but most of of us know what’s going on. Buy time, pilfer the chauffeurs that many of us helped to build. So sad
