In a political environment, the sociopaths rise to the top. The bad drives out the good. The 3rd generation of the Walton family (and the overpriced consultants that they listen to) will run the Company into the ground.

Kath McLay and team Woolworths are taking over neighborhood markets. She's got no clue what she's doing, was a big failure in Logistics. Guess what though?

Executives like Kath who are sh--e get promoted to EVP. In the store/DC, you get yanked.

Rumor around the home office is that he was forced to leave amid an “investigation”

Retired after 30+ years. Could be by choice or because of other reasons. Might have to do with upcoming changes or perhaps just a guy with a fair amount of money wanting to relax and enjoy it :)

He was a rude SOB at times but did a number of things to help the store and home office relationship Improve. I think he did some really good things the past few years myself.

Already been replace by the man leading the NHMs for Walmart. Time will tell how that turns out of course.

Yea he is super two faced and the most egotistical person I’ve ever met. Always talked out of both sides of his mouth. Glad he’s gone

WOW !! I’ve toured with Moore on several occasions !! When he was in the field he knew his stuff and I enjoyed touring with him.. As he got higher and higher his direction was different from what he was giving us when he was face to face. So who the hell knows !! Walmart is not the same and will never be the same as it was when Murphy was Regional that’s when it all started to change !! You can see that as a tipping point !!
