The Murfreesboro call center is for sale. So what does that mean for the employees there? Will they be laid off? Transferred to HBA? What is the time frame when this will happen?

It actually was put up for sale recently at the end of October. Give it six months to a year.
The building has been for sale since I started working there in 2006. It’s never been a secret that we don’t own the building and are leasing it.
depends on timing of call center rebadge to outsource. if rebadge and you are not on a PIP, rebadged to outsource. if longer time interval then move to HBA only if not on PIP otherwise severance package.
Heard from a very good source The 'Boro will be closing. Good luck to everyone. I am taking the package and getting away from Verizon after 30+ years. Hasta la Vista.
Was in Little Rock call center. They sold the building a couple years before they actually closed the place. Lots of management lied to us and told us "don't worry about being closed, we own the building" and then when we found out it was sold it was "just a cash flow thing. Lots of other centers are like this". Then, boom. HBA or voluntary layoff or transfer to another brick and mortar. I actually like HBA, but I'm not counting on being with Verizon any extended period of time. Only a matter of time before they outsource us all to people who'll do the same tasks (although c-appily) for way less money. Nature of the beast
