Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Maybe it’s time to start the job hunt now

Don't say there are no job opportunities. If you have a Sam's nearby then your area is big enough and has other places to work. You are making up excuses. So you would rather have to job hunt once your store closes, and all you other associates are fighting for the same jobs? Maybe start that hunt now, and be ahead of the game. You're just scared, and I don't blame you for that. But you can't just let the fear control you.

And the person thinking they are clearing high level jobs for us? Do you take stupid pills? They are cutting management because the are cutting us regular folks. You can't have a bunch of managers and no employees. Why else do you think they're giving more authority to the leads? Fresh opportunities are good, but there are only so many. You think all these people can just just into fresh? Think about your words before you say them.

OP by @VSN40EN-boz . Think that the OP gave sam good advice here.

Hey, if you take any comment on here personal or it’s causing you to lose sleep then you really shouldn’t be looking at this website. Sure everyone’s situation is different but at the end of the day if the writing is on the wall then what are you going to do? Sit and wait to see if it’s true? And if it’s not the expected outcome what have you done to make sure you are prepare for it. No company owes anyone anything. You have to make choices stop waiting for someone to make it for you

I am not the one who shared my own comment. But trolls will be trolls. And if you live in an area where jobs are not booming, then something is wrong with your area. Figure out if it's worth living in, and stop crying about nothing going on. If you continue to look at things that way then that's all you'll get in life.

Maybe it’s time to mind your damn business and worry about yourself! Everyone’s situation is different. And just because there is a Sam’s club in your town does not mean the job market in that area is booming. Get on with your life.

So you've made 2 post and they both said the same thing, very refreshing.

Hey! This is my comment! 😂 Still true, but kinda loses some umph when they can't see the original post and the dumb comment from the person saying they were letting managers go, so we can move up into their position or to go into fresh.

But for the comment on here @mgc that was maybe my 2nd comment ever and haven't had many since, so you got the wrong dude.

For someone who keeps suggesting stupid pills, you should probably proof read your repetitive post before posting.

Ya. I bet they close another 10 percent of clubs in January. If your in a club that keeps getting lots of tours that may be good advise.
