Enbridge Syndrome making people sick

I don't know how often this is happening, but I know of a person who ordered by their doctor to take extended absence due to stress-caused illness. The person is the last one you'd think could not take it any longer, but was driven to their knees. Fortunately, sounds like a good physician is involved in helping the person.

Is anyone else hearing about this happening in their group? With the bullying by managers old and new, demotions, title changes, etc., just wondering how widespread this is.

I think a lot of people are playing the victim card to make an excuse for their inaction and indirectly supporting the enbridge environment. So let's take an average employee age of 40 making 100k. After 15 to 20 yrs of working if you don't have enough saved up to pay your bills for a year it is your fault for living beyond your means. In 80% of the cases You are a victim bc either you are greedy and love the easy $ or you really need the $ bc you were stupid to live beyond your means.

I also heard that AM does bully his report. It’s a matter of time until the money is no longer worth it.

There must be sound business reasons for fostering a culture of bullying and intimidation or we wouldn’t have steered the company in this direction.

I just don’t know what they are.

Not sure which is more damaging: the constant fear of being laid off or the tension, disrespect and bullying leading up to the layoff.

Some of us still remember when Enbridge was a decent company. It’s fall from grace has been shocking.

So what would happen if in those cases where people are on stress leave bc of PL bullying them, documented everything and filed it with HR? Let's say they get "laid off", wouldn't that be a pretty good case for a lawsuit? Throw in some media attention and you have a decent out of court settlement. What am I missing?

The “important” people at Enbridge are not subjected to bad treatment, and are paid extremely well. That’s what I hate most about Al’s regime. It has created a “have/have not” culture. Makes for difficult internal relations.

I know two who are on stress leave becuase of bullying from their PL. they also got harassed by enbridge nurse adding to their stress. Even Dr said they need to be on stress leave but enbridge nurse said they need to report back to work because enbridge believes there is nothing wrong with them and Dr is wrong.
