I guess those of us with 10 plus years really did get left out of this. And I would have jumped at the offer.

My group was not included in the offer. We had a call with our entire team with our executive leader making sure we knew we weren't and why.
The VERY interesting note that I haven't seen ANYWHERE else is the stipulation that, if you DO apply for the package and are accepted, once you leave Verizon you can NEVER be re-hired.
This is NOT a trolling comment...it surprised the heck out of everyone that they'd include that.
it has to do with organizations, not years. There is a 1 year minimum, that's it.
Not every group qualifies/not every person qualifies - it really based on the needs of the business. If accept the offer and the company needs you the can reject you. So if you didn't get it maybe your group is not included as there were several areas of the business that were excluded from consideration.
Everyone will get it outside of excluded groups. Emails are still going out....
Just b/c you didn't get an email from Hans doesn't mean you aren't included. I still have yet to receive the email, but the micro site confirms that I do in fact qualify. I have 13 years.
Maybe they threw darts at the wall till they had a big enough pools of groups. I think you can see all the groups and titles affected online almost like they do with the union offers which have gone out. Only difference i saw was the union ones give location instead of leader.

There are lots of other criteria used to determine eligibility.
Not true. I know several people who have more than 10 years that got the offer. If you were excluded the company made the decision to not include you.
Many of us didn't receive it. It's not the end of the world.
