Spending all the money for their shareholders and the top level folks, but those that actually have to deal with angry customers' frustrations(us support engineers) on bad cloud products get zilch.

Oracle is a scam, that’s all there is to it these days, get out!
Can/do buybacks happen in extended trading hours?
I got a very good education, thank you very much!!
I don’t give a rats patootie what you call it. Using a tax break - touted by politicians, egged on by businessmen, sold to the public as CREATING JOBS - to buy back stock or pay insane amounts of money to CEOs is not in the interest of 99.999% of hard working people. So stick it, pal!!!!
Is Safra taking Oracle private?
With the buybacks the price would be slightly lower than 12 months ago.
12 billion in buybacks.. what would share price be without it??!!??!!??
Share buybacks have nothing to do with trickle down. You clearly bought a line someone told you. Trickle down means to creation of policy that allows businesses to create more jobs. If you ever run a business you will understand. You need to be careful listening to socialist teachers who never did anything but teach.
That said, share buy backs, when used to prop share price and eps is shady at best. This is not “policy” and only helps you if you also hab shares or options.
A good reason for share buybacks is to regain controlling shares for decision making.
Um, no worries. Support engineers outside of India? You will soon get a nice "package" to compensate you for your hard work.
That is why trickle down . . .Does. Not. Work. Buybacks do nothing for the folks in the trenches.
Ask around at any large company that got this windfall. For example my sister works for Home Depot, which got millions. Know what they got? A remodeled break room at their store. You can’t eat that or use it to pay your rent.
