but who pays $200+/hr..? these days ..Oracle is not a consulting company...
still keeping 800 people in N. America (20% managers-- on their butt daily)..

No offense to the people on oracle consulting some of whom are excellent, but oracle consulting has no future. The 4 stooges really don’t care about it and have told partners like Accenture that they need to pick up the slack, so definitely no future for you here. Go join a real consulting company where you might have a future.
I've worked with Oracle consulting in the past - get the right person in and they fix a serious performance issue then can the investment can repay itself over many times - not sure where you are going with this - usually they are people who dedicate a lot of personal time and effort and are highly trained - they personally won't see a fraction of that money
The quarterly results show you where consulting is going. Revenue is down every quarter. I was laid off in January and they were merging consulting groups because the sizes were very small. Guess its not a revenue stream they want to be in.
