Does anything happen if we dont use aux codes because we dont take all the breaks?

Hiring is a huge multi departmental process. It requires many different levels of approval and to get qualified people in the door lots of interviews. We don’t want more people here who can’t type, copy, paste, or that don’t have basic computer skills do we?
Breaks are paid time so it doesn’t really matter. If you want to work 8 hours and not take breaks, you get paid the same as if you worked 8 hours and took a few breaks from the work. Lunches are unpaid so if you work straight thru and don’t take lunch, you must be paid. The problem is the staffing isn’t adequate to allow much time for a break and if you did take breaks you may not be able to get all your work done without extending your work hours.
It is a complete mess. We told them to hire long ago. They will see how not being full staffed affected their reimbursement. It already affected turnover rate.
Calls Overdue is the new normal. Take one sick day off and with little or no coverage, your roster is a mess. Not sure how to get caught up with incoming calls, post discharge alerts, and 2 to 3 new members every day. The "program" sets us up for failure.
They are looking at your time worked and lunches taken. At least it was brought up in my last one on one. FYI
There is too much work to be done to get everything in by your time to "go home". People are going to start to go overdue on my roster, there are just too many. it's either one thing or another that something isnt good enough no matter how hard you work for the members. Mgmt should have replaced all that left a long time ago and not put us in this bind and left us drowning.
Yes, they do say to take them. But they havent changed any metric or quality requirement in ages or since we went hourly. We have had close to 95% of my original team quit and we've taken on all of their rosters. We get nit picked to death on charts. I had an 10 month span with 0 tqr returns and now have 2 and they are acting like I'm about to get written up. No I dont have time for breaks but wondered if not taking them will also get me written up. This s---s.
Oh they say we have to take breaks and lunch. No way they don’t know that we are working through I’m gem. They know every keystroke
They can not legally take away time for breaks if you aren't taking them. It depends on your state mandates for breaks. Some states require they are provided and some dates do not. Obviously, better for you to take them but if your state doesn't require it then you don't have to unless your coach says otherwise.
The rosters on our team are just below 900 and it always feels like we are drowning in work and never feel caught up. The only way for me to get off work "on time" some days is for me to not take my 30 minute lunch and 15 minute breaks.
I'm not getting OT on the days I dont take breaks. On the days I dont take breaks it's because I want to be able to stop working at my regular time that I'm off. Sometimes breaks put me behind and I'd rather just go home at 5. I'm wondering if others dont take their breaks, too?
They automatically take out breaks and lunch, when hourly, even if you don’t use your aux codes.
If you are hourly and not taking breaks and lunch, are you getting OT?
