I am surprised by this forum
I thought this is rumor mongering but then I saw layoffs in IT first hand yesterday confirming what this thread stated
Looks like some high level folks are leaking information here which are veritable
Mary would eat her kids alive if it meant a raise for herself. Her and the execs are anti American and greedy back stabbers, just like everyone else left. Time to move on to something better. The good days are long gone.
NOT FAKE NEWS - it happened today with many people being let go. Morale is at a all time low and with the cultural differences in India, good luck to the customers of IT. No initiative and little training as well as no loyalty in India, so people move to the company next door for $0.05/hour raise. Cause that is big money in India.

Cio bonus is linked to number of jobs being shipped to India and she is doing a good job of this
I'd guess when all is done .. san Diego wont have any IT engineers only few female managers and analysts
The good news is the San Diego IT holiday party is BACK since there is only 20 people left to pay for.
To be honest, getting a package would be the best scenario. Right now, NOBODY is focused on innovation or improving the company, just survival. The few people left in IT are having to do the work of 5 or 6 people since Mary fired everybody else and we are down to less than a skeleton crew.

Other than ITOS, all of corporate IT fits into the 2nd floor of building AF....and half the offices are empty.

Other than the long ago announced move of ops work to India, there's no mention of any more layoffs. This just seems like rumour mongering as we approach one of the actual layoff dates from that.
