If GMF wanted to gain some experienced long time relationship managers that have been with Ally/GMAC, now would be the time to reach out. Just a thought for you this evening.

Rumors are starting to swirl about head count reductions around Nov-Dec 2019. Again, older employees with be the target of the forced retirements. Some have already started in the companies commercial lending group which handles medium/heavy duty trucks loans.

I noticed that too in Jacksonville!! Both Grand Bay and Corklan offices were bought by that new leasing and hedge fund management company you mentioned. Also managers here are being moved around too.

I'm not sure about Lewisville being in danger.t is the jacksonville location. certain depts are under constant scrutiny. there was a town hall meet in Feb of this year mentioning words such as " streamlining", " cost effectiveness" and " restructuring" which are usually keywords for layoffs.

several people were promised raises, only to be told the company could not afford it, and the 1000.00 trump tax cut bonus is the only "raise" they would get this year.

the 2nd and 4th floors are almost empty, no signs of hiring new employee for busy depts such as the credit bureau.the only new employees hired are for collections and they are all contract workers.

Some employees reported they were casually asked that if their job was to be transferred to charlotte,nc would they go? This was before hurricane Florence, but there is a 26 story new ally building in NC they are focusing on.

the renovations recently finished in the jacksonville bldg a few months ago are shoddily done and looks like it's for whoever new tenants in the future would be. also the building lease is taken over by a company called farralon capital who are known for merger assistance, assisting companies with layoffs and selling and leasing underused buildings to new tenants.

Do you know what location? I figure it’s Lewisville. We have noticed the same as last year when they let departments go. They are moving top managers around monthly. Thanks for the heads up. Do you think there will be a severance like last year?
