Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Another great quarter for ORCL

In terms of its segments, the company reported:

Cloud Services and License Support revenues increased 3% year over year to $6.61 billion.

Cloud License and On-Premise License revenues decreased 3% to $867 million.

Hardware revenues decreased 4% to $904 million.

Services revenues decreased 5% to $813 million.

The reaction to this cloud license disappointment is significant...

“Our channel checks suggest that Oracle is ‘losing people faster than [Oracle] can hire them’ and that customers continue to disapprove of Oracle’s sales tactics,” Pat Walravens, an analyst at JMP Securities, wrote in a note ahead of the release. These factors could have pinched the company’s performance, he wrote.

Oracle's Co-CEO Safra Catz proclaims confidently:

"We are off to an excellent start. That strong earnings per share growth rate increases my confidence that we will deliver on another fiscal year of double-digit non-GAAP earnings per share growth."

Oracle Co-CEO, Mark Hurd added:

"The vast majority of ERP applications running in the cloud are either Oracle Fusion or Oracle NetSuite systems. In the first quarter, we increased our market share as customers continued to buy Oracle Fusion ERP to replace their existing SAP and Workday ERP systems. The Oracle Fusion ERP customer count is now nearly 5,500, while the NetSuite ERP customer count is over 15,000. Virtually every analyst ranks Oracle as the market leader in cloud ERP."

Oracle has to be the worst performing Software company in the world with the possible exception of ibm, eons behind the MSFTs, AWS, Googles of this world. A sc-ap heap of failed and uninterested acquisitions maskerading as a cloud company. What a joke!

Looks like you've bought into DJTs lies, hook, line and sinker.

Guess you believe every word LE tells you? S---er.

Go take your trump derangement syndrome pills, and jack off to your hillary fat cankles posters. Just think about her corrupt fake foundation, sales to the russians, contributions by the saudis, and that she blew up the whole middle east when you climax. She is a good fit for oracle, and maybe she can run it. Aside from her alonon meetings, she is free after all, though clearly ailing. No biggie, keep a crash cart around. Trump will be busy for the next 6 years.

And lay off the soy.

And here you thought everyone is a libtard reject from mamas basement

MH, SC and LE are world class at picking out meaningless phrases that are true to a very small extent, but will be interpreted by analysts as meaning more than they actually do.

DJT would be a great replacement for TK. BS all the way. "The election is rigged", assumed by everyone to mean it's rigged against him, when really, all the time, he meant it was rigged for him.

DJT is amazing at leaving details out of his statements so that everyone will assume something he actually did not say.

MH, SC, and LE are doing essentially the same thing. Analysts are stupid.

How many Fusion ERP Cloud customers have fully implemented the product and actually using it??? My math suggests only 15-20% of the 5K MH claims Oracle has.

"Virtually every analyst ranks Oracle as the market leader in cloud ERP."

God Almighty. If that statement wasn't drafted by Trump himself, I'll go to hell!

"as customers continued to buy Oracle Fusion ERP to replace their existing SAP and Workday ERP systems."

Consider the source -- MH, a known liar.

The translation is "We had a customer replace SAP and another replace Workday this year. Please don't ask me how many replaced us with SAP, Workday or Salesforce because that number is very big and I can't count that high."

@nrk, workday and salesforce should have been part of the oracle business if their founders were loyal to oracle. Larry didn't hire loyal people. These guys learned their skills and developed their ideas for big business at oracle and then left to make money on their own.
