So since I wasn't chosen for the backroom position do I have to stay back there after next Friday. I really do not think I should be made to work in a department that did not want me.

There were 3 of us in the back. I didnt even apply I have chosen to leave. I believe I will be training the other receiving associate mostly. I dont mind at all. It's time for me to fly!
Rude! They are making an exception with coachings for this position. No one knows what's going on with with someone else. It's a stressful time for displaced people right now.
Nasty comments. Don't feel so safe. Lowe's just closed 51 stores. Retail as we know it is dying out. For those of you who think your safe. Nobody is. We all need to think about saving and having a back-up plan. A year,two years nobody knows what will happen in the future in retail. It's not going to be as we know it. They will also find ways to do what they need with less people. Bottom line, less payroll is the trend.

It won't be so funny when they let you off. Have some respect. Losing your job is no laughing matter. Take your severance pay and I pray that you find a much better job in the very near future in Jesus Mighty name. 💗💗💗💗
You will have to work in any area that you’re needed and wherever your cm tells you to. The areas can change daily based on the needs of your club and call offs in different departments. If you refuse to help where you are needed you could be terminated and lose your severance pay. Swallow your pride and look forward to a better future with a better company like I did! Good luck to everyone and realize there is a new beginning waiting!
I declined the position and taking severance. My gm said they will put me where they need me until dec 7th. Most likely fresh i know.

I'm betting you had coachings for attendance. That's why you didnt get the job. You seem like a person who calls off alot. Probably one of those people who call of 3 times in a row before your 2 days off to get a 5 day weekend
