Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Are great things really coming our way?

The rumors would stop if the powers that be would tell us what the changes are already! For over 6 months we keep getting told that big exciting changes are coming. They're going to be huge and amazing...yet we never get any specifics. Everything we hardly works, no communication, and the labs are a mess. But...we keep getting told great things are heading our way!

OP by @VFA3vEJ-evvr . Found this to be a great post. It emphasizes the lack of info about the announced changes in some departments. Obviously, the leadership's goal is to keep us in the dark as long as possible.

This a corporation looking to make themselves richer. The past has gone and will never be back. The company is in a self destruction course. They are going to end up just like the big Sears Corp falling on their face. Goodbye have a good day

My cousin got to go to the annual bbq that Sam Walton had at his home. It was the last one before Sam died. My cousin said he made sure to speak with all of the associates there and thank them for their hard work. He also asked about their families and if they had any suggestions on making the company a better place to work. It's really sad to see how different things are now. It's not what Sam wanted. He didn't care as much about how big the company was. He did care deeply for the people that worked for him and the customers who shopped in his stores. I remember the days when Sam was still at the helm and it was a great place to work. Now, not so much,!

That's true. Got a buddy who met Sam at store #1690, first year it was open in 1990. The old man would make his rounds at all his stores; do a meet-n-greet with all the associates, thank them for all their hard work and shake their hands.

One of Sam's big things was to tell the associates as much as possible. It's not Sam's company any more!
