Just found out my colleague in corporate is getting let go. This person (don't want to say male/female) has 30 days to find a new job. I know CVS is a HUGE company and maybe this stuff happens every year 'quietly' so maybe the big layoffs only get noticed. Not saying this is a sign of anything, but sad to see her go and my heart goes out to their family.

I am a lead of 18 years! Just quit today on my own heading to Sams ! I could no longer watch my pic of those 20 years cry anymore due to the stress of the business! No fanfare , no balloons or cake, nobody called to find out why I was leaving! Just s damn number to this company ! I am shamed of myself for what I allowed them to do to us for so long! I hope my Pic walks out she deserves a better life!
Happens all the time. It’s extremely sad. What I find horrible is that it’s mostly done on politics and opinion instead of output. Also, what burns my hide is that the company continues to hire after these layoffs happen!! Yep .... saving money for profits right? The company only cares about it’s stakeholders and no one else. Long term LOYAL employees mean NOTHING TO THIS COMPANY. And yet, newer employees just want the paycheck and then leave for another company who offers more. Sad. No loyalty
