Another great day of training my india replacement. Thank you ge for taking my dignity as you close my plant and hold me hostage with my benefits. How people respect and hold this company in such high regard is beyond my comprehension. Good luck and god bless everyone struggling to come to a job with no future.

India runs GE technology now. almost all tech jobs are outsourced to India. How can we succeed in technology if another country runs our tech.
Our Indian execs use only Indian contractor companies and promote and hire other indians.
It's not just GE, most other large companies do the same. It's sad.
If you guys didn’t sit on union laurels and try to squeeze ge, the jobs would not leave. It is about lowest cost in manufacturing. The factory hasn’t changed since the 80s.
Had that happen to my first GE job. They using Tata Engineering? Customers love waiting for responses that take days or weeks.
GE did the same thing in Greenville many years ago. We were forced to train our Indian replacements. Kicked out the door and returned as low paid contractors without benefits doing the same thing. Of course, we had forced layoffs periodically because we were classified as contractors. Once the Indians were trained, we were booted as contractors. Not many people remain from those days. Very few GE employees survive the constant layoff culture. Those that survive recognize the same initiatives (even failed ones) return about every 8 years.
Sorry to hear that!
But You just need to "train right" the india replacement so the result is....!
Wasn’t aware of this, I’m really sorry to hear that. Wish the best of luck to you and to your colleagues. How many people forced to do the same?
