Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Don't stay if you are miserable

Too many jobs out there to stay with one that makes you sick or miserable. I think we are all feeling the imbalance these days. PepsiCo had better wake up soon or they may find themselves irrelevant. They need to make more investments for the future rather than scrimping to capture every penny as a prisoner. But the short term quarterly focus to give EVERYTHING to the shareholder is stifling a long term vision needed to ensure future success.

Bumped from @VRexY2I-1mdl for being on point.

We have all heard that wages are on the rise. I read an article this morning that stated wages are increasing not as a result of inflation but as a result of a tight labor market. People are quitting their jobs to go to work for another company at a higher wage. PepsiCo has some really outstanding leaders. But we also know that PepsiCo has some of the worst people leaders around. If we do have a lay-off in the near future, it would be my recommendation to root out the poor leaders and send them packing. PepsiCo will save money in three ways. Wages for bad leaders, slowing of turnover, and greater productivity. PepsiCo needs to stop allowing poor leaders run the show.
