You're just a number at 3M. RUN before your numbers up (and it will come up). In the end, there will only be people from Costa Rica, Germany, and temps running the place.

I just took the incentive and retired a couple months ago. I was planning on retiring towards the end of the year anyway. I felt as if I was employed by a political enemy and I could hardly stand another day in the place. They've allowed Diversity and Inclusion to destroy them, hiring based on skin color, national origin, ethnicity, s-xual preference, claimed gender, etc., contributes nothing to a business but chaos. The only diversity that's valuable is diversity of intellect, ideas, or skills regardless of what you look like, where you're from or who you have s-x with.
I saw three female engineers come and go, everyone wondered how they received a degree. They transferred them to other locations instead of canning them. 3M repeatedly attempts to put the round peg in the square hole, the definition of insanity. Minorities are put in positions they aren't remotely qualified for as well. The qualified of the wrong color, that are under them, keep them afloat and best not complain.
Self destruction.

3M needs to close up shop let another company come in and do the job they failed at....how can you lay off people who have been in the company for over 20 years?? Like HOW? If you can’t keep an employee that’s been there that long it’s time to shut down!

Any people re orgs after the recent business group reorg from 5 to 4 groups. When will the company return to growth again....this company will be badly hit when next recession hits since there will be no more levers to turn. Cost cutting is already maxed out after years of low or zero growth
