Been in many Walmart’s lately? There are far more Self Checkouts than staffed.
Why pay cashiers to ring items up inaccurately when you can just let the member do it . Every time asset protection comes in the front end is blamed for shrink so why not just have members do it ?
I heard the same thing it's happening this coming year in a club in south texas
Be forklift certified. It is a great skill to have. You can lock up most interviews by emphasizing how valuable you will be to the position by being able to run a lift.
