How long does it take to actually receive your severance check from the date you must turn in the severance paperwork?

Does anyone know if they mail you your severance packet ?
“ Once the signed Release and Separation agreement has been received by the Walmart People Services team, it will be processed as soon as administratively practical. It may take up to three pay periods to process and will be paid out during the next regular payroll cycle”.
Sooo...it’ll be a while!!! Some of the people that I knew from previous job eliminations said it took weeks...months.
According to the severance policy on the wire it can take up to 3 pay periods (or 6 weeks)
