So they have pretty much taken our jobs away from us it’s a slap in the face. I just hate they are still using us to ensure new systems are understood or actually working. I’m not bitter or upset I just want my meeting and packet already. It’s been a great ride but excited about the new change.

When you take the severance, you act like job hunting is a full time job. You get up in the morning and push out the applications most of the day. It will work. Just be glad the severance can help pay the bills while your looking. Take it from someone who came from a store that closed. I have not heard of anyone that did not find a job quickly. Yes it's scary, but afterwards you will be so happy.
I. Couldn't be happier. The thing that upsets me is we have to wait so long. I wish I had more pto time. If we're not taking a position they should let us take our severance now. I've been waiting for this for some time now. I don't see this company around in the near future. They don't value the long term associates. Managers don't care about the associates. The market manager doesn't speak to anyone when he comes in the club but when Gisel came to town he's walking around shaking associates hands and talking to them. What a fake. Just has to put on a good show.
How long do you think that severance will last?? To all you younger associates you can probably find a job. To all of us older associates its going to be harder!! 27 years with the company and I'm more sad than mad!! I get it it's the new technology and change!! Don't be so bitter people..... embrace the change for what it is worth the grass is not always greener on the other side!!!!
I am now an ex Receiving Lead. You may think its all roses, collect a big payout. Wrong!! Now have to look for a new job if I choose to, and dont forget, payout isnt as good as you think with Federal, State, and SS being taken out
I've heard there is an area where they did let go of PTC along with backroom. I am positive this is a testing area. You should get your wish soon. Hopefully sooner than later, but I would say February at the latest. Though, I am nobody and just guessing.
I am a PTC and my position was eliminated on Tuesday, I am not to conductuct any Personnel fuction and I am to work on the floor until the December 7th. I am having a great time not worring about all the issues with Workday, GLMS etc. Good luck to the all the managers and Teamlead who have to do my job, it will not be as easy as it looks. I am looking foward to the change and I will not look back.

Fingers crossed that it's really soon! Receiving, clerk's and claims got it so good. They get to spend Christmas with their families and get a big check for it also.
