Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Lots of posts that I’d agree with here.

100% agree on the no leadership all the way down to the level 4s and even the 3s. There really is none on our side. My boss hardly shows up to work anymore and his boss is in another state. We never see anyone above a level 2.

There is no real leadership from the C-Suite down to the 4th level - this is where the real stuff matters, IMHO. These group of ppl abandoned, possibly when Ralph left, the real life of the company and stopped looking at improving the core network to retain and bring in customers, create new products, etc. Instead, they embarked in a series of offshoring jobs, including offloading the maintenance of the core network to the same gear manufacturers! Use it for accounting trick and show off the gloss monthly slide showcasing zero hardware/software bugs!

Sadly but until Randy and the Johns get off their horses, gravity will do its slowly job and drag it down until it is too late to restore as a whole.

There is only one thing that can save the company now. Bring back charges for long distance calls and charge 10 cents per imessage. Or we could monitor everyone's cell phones and use it to sell targeted ads.

Ralph actually wanted to improve the existing proven and paid for network infrastructure. Randall wants to 5G everything. It will not work.

AT&T went down the tubes when Ralph de La Vega left.
