Were the interns (aka executive’s kids) let go too?

If you are in a group that hired an intern I can almost guarantee you had someone let go. They are resetting payroll costs. The level of employee let go was not some low level hourly employee in most cases. These were highly knowledgeable well compensated managers. Cut the highest paid people and make the next one up do more work. Bring in interns at dirt wages and churn and burn them to keep payroll levels low. It is a real discredit to the type of organization I thought I worked for.
