Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

3rd Quarter Entertainment results

So with reading a well written article I see where Directv lost 284,000 customers from Directv. I would be safe to say all stores have high cancel rates on premium all over for over loading and stuffing down customers throats a product that is a thing of the past. Sounds like high cancel rates equates into a broken brand, sales reps using the generic ssn and installers who know their days are numbered and quip the all mighty f--- it let me sit here and let this order to a no access to premise coding. Thoughts on the massive losses and high cancel rates ?? No one have a stroke over this if your drinking the Kool Aid if your still here. If your still reading this, post below on the results from Q3. Thanks - The one who escaped on the midnight train and is watching the bon fire with beer in hand on a Friday - Cheers

But the company is now saddled with $250 billion in debt and faces challenges in sustaining a profitable entertainment business, thanks to a crowded media space and the trend of cord cutting. THE BOARD SHOULD BE Replaced, as the entire senior management including Randy, and find new blood

Actually, I think losing 284,000 customers is a good thing. This loss will allow the remaining customers to receive better customer service. Same concept as having smaller class size for students allows for greater teacher attention and in turn better educated students.

Long story short.....the loss is a BIG WIN for customers who did not switch to a better service.

The same set of people created the T-mobile debacle with no consequences, bought DirectTV at the peak of satellite TV with no profits to show. Then 3 years later the same set of people get to decide to buy Time Warner - while never acknowledge those two mistakes. The ship with those two big man-made holes on the side now carries more debt load - what's next?
