People keep claiming there were layoffs this week, but we've heard absolutely nothing of it here. So what's going on?

Third quarter investor reporting on Nov 6 th. Get the picture! 4th quarter must save year results or investors move to other investments
Not sure I say anyone forecast a specific date besides one poster making a mention about Nov 5. Unless you are really close to HR, I am guessing no one can give specifics.
