Now the world knows--- "..Oracle’s Larry Ellison keeps poking AWS because he has no choice...

"....He makes claims that his cloud products are faster and cheaper, claims that are hard to substantiate given how hard it is to nail down any vendor’s cloud prices and speeds. He says they have no disaster recovery, when they do. None of it matters.

It’s the only way oracle makes the news...otherwise the media wouldn’t even cover open world. Ellison is just doing this amazon insult chain-yanking to get media to write about open world and oracle. Otherwise they (O) would be even more DEAD.

Media are chasing Ellison squirrels and playing into his hands to do what he wants: give O media coverage.

Honestly no one cares about oracle anymore. But middle school type jabs, now that’s a social media shareable story or wired & tech republic front page news to grab eyeballs. Millenials love faux news.
