The recent post by @VNSK3vG-3isf does the best job at summing things up! Once the latest round of cuts and re-org occurs, many of those hanging on to receive separation packages will leave, as there will no longer be any reason to wait it out any longer!
Sad to watch this deeply troubled company unravel.
The title of this email thread, “Halloween Surprise, Trick or Treat,” captures the reason for my profound unhappiness at this company: They are constantly deceiving us.
Every day, the rug is pulled out from under us in a new new way. Just when we think we’re on solid ground, something happens. They lay us off. They downgrade our titles. They remove opportunities for career advancement. They lie about safety measures. They reorganize us. They fire us for not being subservient. They cut our benefits. They decrease our pensions.
The messaging they spin tighens the knot in my stomach.
I’m leaving. My heart goes out to those who can’t.
Face time meetings main purpose was to show the "human" vs the "inhuman" side of our new leader. They were kept small purposely so we could get to know her as a person. Not much was gained or changed and I would advise you pack up all your personal stuff as we're all getting a lump of coal for Christmas this year.
Basically Toronto will be the new head office and Chatham will be a regional office. If you're hoping to go anywhere in the company you better be in Toronto.
Perhaps this is the reason why all UG performance reviews were bumped "up" so we will not receive our STIP but be unemployed. This is on par with Enbridge's enlightened employee practices.

I heard people left the CH FaceTime sessions more confused and anxious than they were before.
Agree with previous posts. CH rates high on the unlikability scale. She should really rethink her practice of public humiliation.
