Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

All Receiving positions and Claims positions have been eliminated. A new position called Back room associate has been created . All associates have the ability to apply for this new position in addition to those displaced. There will now be two full-time back room associates and one part time back room associate . The new position will manage both receiving and claims . The new position also requires the associate to drive a forklift . The schedule will remain somewhat the same ie. morning shifts . The position will be a level C . If you are 39 years old or younger you have 15 days from the date of November 10 to find another position or take severance if you are 40 years old or older you have 45 days to find another position or take severance . So for those 39 and under that will put your last day of work at November 25 for anyone 40 years or older that will put your last day of work at December 7. Severance is offered to those who do not wish to stay.
