Are the union employees in Schenectady and Erie pooling interest in the Powerball to try and use the $1,600,000,000 jackpot to but 2% of GE? Maybe they could take a page from our overlord Nelson Peltz and shut down the French and Europe plants to save their jobs and pensions.

Someone in SC won. But even if they flat gave the $1.6 billion to GE as a gift (and skipped out on paying the taxes), it wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket for easing GE's woes. Think about that this morning while you're working hard for the general.

GE employees collectively own more GE stock than Peltz already but have no voice in anything.
