Rumor is Nov 1 is the layoff date so they can get everyone off the books by year end.
This sounds plausible, even if I keep hoping it's not true. Any more info on it?

Considering that VRIPs and VREPs were just offered and the last work day would be November 30th with the response to the offers being due the 24th of October, I would think that any layoffs would be effective the end of December?
Big layoffs like what we know is coming usually happen after the Notlidays.
It could be the end of Won'tober
Maybe the 2cd of Never
I heard it will be half past the monkey's ass
I heard Nov 9th.
Well @VLPy62O-nlz , we can only imagine. But I suspect the silence of their daily life and the imaginary conversations inside their head cause them to go slowly insane.
@VLPy62O-wgs that sounds a little weird. How do you think that affects them after a while?
Well @VLPy62O-nlz , they then reply to their own message pretending to have a conversation and trying to make it seem like there's some big controversy.
@VLPy62O-pjk just to get a reaction? That's stupid. What happens when they don't get a reaction quick enough?
@uyi Yes they do! They just make up stuff and post on here to try to get a reaction.
@qke. So you're saying people make up stuff on there own?
Horse chit
It's possible. When I was laid off in 2016 they gave us about 6 weeks before the official lay-off date. This was spun as a way to give us time to look for other options but what it turned into was managers scrambling to download all the relevant info out of us and set up calls with the folks in Europe who were taking over our responsibilities. Funny, I thought a RIF due to lack of work meant there wasn't enough work to keep someone on yet I was asked to transition the same scope of work to someone who happened to sit in Europe. SMH. Oh, back to the post. It's possible based on the timing, but like everything on here, it's typically speculation.
You hear it here first folks. First because the OP just pilled it out of his a-- then quoted himself.
