GlobalFoundries hires janitors as techs. A few years back, GlobalFoundries actually hired two janitors. One janitor couldn’t pass the background check. He came from Cuba NM, fired from Intel, with rap sheet of drunk driving, domestic violence and owing $56,000 in past due child support! Yes, GlobalFoundries hires him as a maintenance tech! The other janitor did about one year of SUNY college majoring in Art. He was “vague” about his past, smokes a lot of dope and has no solid work experience but could really kiss Royal Manager A#% as he two-faced his way up the ranks! He is now a “Process Engineering Tech”; whatever that is... Yes, both hired by GlobalFoundries and still working there suffering no effects from layoffs! Does anyone wonder why GlobalFoundries is failing? Dirty little secrets....

What about the CMP MSM that would show up to work on with coc--ne on his face? He’s still there, even won the manager’s award.
One of our tech is hired from Janitronics and he is a harder worker than anyone I know. He is also very curious and willing to learn so much.
So go away. Janitors are hard working people too who deserves our respect.
There is nothing wrong about being a janitor! They clean up our messes all day long, unlike some employees or contractors who literally piss on a floor. I heard that men's bathroom closest to the Fab exit is FILTHY. People constantly make so much mess that cleaners cannot keep up.
Those janitors were clearly smarter and more brilliant (just did not have the degree, but brilliant still) and the poster is probably a recently laid off engineer who is jealous.
Never got why people look down on janitors/janitronics at GF. They work hard to clean up after and keep up with the slobs at GF. Take a look at the bathrooms in their average state. Even with their contract continually widdled down to nothing in comparison, they still do their best which ends up being a decent, until someone pisses all over.
Maybe GF's problem is that they host a bunch of adult children that expect mommy/wifey to clean up after them still (and Janitronics does). The lack of hygiene by some people is an affront to everyone.
Wow. That response right there says everything the media and public need to know about how poorly GlobalFoundries is managed and the people they hire.... goes around, comes around! Be nice and everyone will like you. Don’t you have some work to do in that diminishing line of 14nm?

What makes you think I’m gone? How about the black female AH “Sr HR Business Partner” also still employed, even promoted, after wrongly accusing and bullying a injured female worker so badly that now former employee suffered a heart attack and later won a hefty settlement against GlobalFoundries... Yup, that HR bully runs pretty fast, I hear...... more secrets to come... Every taxpayer in NY who paid the subsidy on this property deserves to know how business is conducted at that failing folley GlobalFoundries....
