You all have to understand that Citrix pays insane salaries to pretty much everyone for a reason. Anyone attepting to leave Citrix for another employer in South Florida will have a very hart time getting same base salary. So they are forced to stay and deal with the nonsense. Every recruiter in the area knows whats going on.

If you read the Economist, you'd know South Florida has low salaries, not high.
In my experience Citrix pays average for the region.
Wow, I sure feel bad that Citirix pays me well because they want me to stay. I'd much rather be underpaid at a company that can't wait to lay me off.

when a company pays you higher than every company in the area (do you not know that we just re adjusted and increased salary bands), people are forced to stay. Then when there are layoffs, people are screwed because they will not be able to find jobs making the same amount of money in the local market.
if a company is stable, then this is not an issue, but this company has been going through turmoil since MT was sadly kicked out.
Go ask anyone you know that was canned last year during the layoffs or this year during any number of the targeted cuts.
you could also just apply for a job elsewhere for the sole purpose of seeing what other people are paying. I did. and the salaries offered have been 15% less than what I make here for the same dam job.
This is the first time I have read someone complain that people are paid too much. What a joke. I am still waiting for all the layoffs that were "for sure happening" this year. What happened? This forum has shrunk down to a few whiners who have nothing else to do but post anon BS.
