Meanwhile TR increase payment to shareholders by 1.4%.
Wouldn’t you think it would be wise to have stalled these dividend increases over the years and invested the money into the company instead ?
Yes still pay a dividend but freeze the increase.
Once the invested money had turned the company around (new products etc), then shareholders would reap the benefits ?
However it seems to be ....increase the dividends whatever the cost to the company.
