If you would work harder during your time off you could spend more time not working when you should

I am sitting in my cubicle now in the Gas Turbine Manufacturing Facility in Greenville, SC. I am writing a report that my COE leader needs to present to Matt Krause.

It is 10:25 AM

The only thing accomplished around me today has been discussions about the weekends college football games. The people around me consist of a COE leader, OPS Leaders, and several ME's. This is the same group that planned many peoples layoffs. This is the buddy system in Greenville at its best! This is the same group that laughed as many of you were shown the door. They were laughing hysterically that you were nervous about being jobless and may have difficulty providing for your families (they actually found significant humor in the situation). They were always confident the buddy system would successfully save their social club buddy members at GE. GE is only a social club to these individuals as they move from location to location throughout the day avoiding work. They also create and attend worthless meetings to maintain their meeting performance skills.

You would be wise to stick to your jobs in your time off.

@V8DaYSf-2wwi - I just want to be sure I understand this correctly... You called people spineless cowards for posting without their posting their names, but then your comment was attributed to "Anonymous" instead of you posting your name... Did I miss something?

People actually doing the work are the ones that hate office politics. GE politics are about protecting buddies and their own rear ends at the expense of those focused on productive work. If you were working on something worth while you would not have time for the political BS at GE.

Most of the time people who are mad at office politics are a--holes nobody likes that think they worth more than they are. For example the kind of person that would post things online while not having the balls to speak up if they see something wrong. Respect is earned, you just dint get it after x # of years.

You must be accepted into the buddy network to surivive.

The gift of gab is only useful to blow smoke up the leaderships arse.

You only can survive at GE if you have the gift of gab.
