If you ever have to ask yourself is this a good idea or a really stupid one, you should make sure you are wearing a safety harness, or a parachute (or perhaps a condom). Its important to have a back up plan.
Funny thing is with TK leaving, Class action lawsuit for cloud fraud, and zero good press for Oracle we still have some people thinking they might make a quick buck. We also have the reverse traders betting big money the stock will bomb.
For the people who think Oracle might be a good buy (check your facts carefully) Oracle just bought back 12 Billion (thats Billion) dollars of its own stock to keep the price up... and its been relatively zero gai over the past 12 months with lost of fluctuation... I wouldn't bet on Oracle stock. I bet on something like MongoDB that is up like 3.5x over its IPO. Check out that graph Google "Quote MDB"
For those of you with s---c-dal tendencies and like to go all in on a risky deal, read the following:
https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/321817/oracle-orcl-q1-earnings-preview-what-to-know-ahead-of-the-release
The market expects Oracle (ORCL - Free Report) to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended August 2018. This widely-known consensus outlook is important in assessing the company's earnings picture, but a powerful factor that might influence its near-term stock price is how the actual results compare to these estimates.
The earnings report, which is expected to be released on September 13, 2018, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations.
Sound like we have someone who may bet on a higher price based on earnings.... but wait, here is the punch line
Oracle doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.
oooo. Even these guys are like... um check out the other factors cause like... we don't think Oracle is going to beat earning expectations.
For me its a no brainer, 8 years after MH took the helm, Oracle is a rotting corpse, a dumpster fire that is doomed to fail. Dump this stock before you lose everything, cause its a "good bye."
