Oldest workforce

Apparently we are second among tech companies with oldest workforce. I'm honestly not sure how this is possible, considering that most people laid off are those with most years with Oracle, meaning the oldest ones. However, according to this chart there are plenty still left...

Legacy HW support...most guys are in their 60s.

The age at oracle on average is lower than ever . ALL the 23-27 yr olds combined with the 55-65 yr olds make the average age super misleading . Simple math.

My guess is that most of the older employees are high level managers. Many of us in the trenches got laid off and bear in mind that the older you are there (tenure, in a way), the more you got paid. Age and pay is what they were looking at, I understand, in their "spreadsheet layoff"
