Don’t know if he was fired, forced to resign, or found a better gig. Hearing from multiple sources that he’s out.
Good riddance.

Not to worry. The CTO will take over for TK. His brilliant mind and general greatness will inspire the masses of new college graduates to jumpstart the next great era of the Ellison 1000 year reign.
Karma’s a b--ch. Couldn’t have happened to bigger (in his words.....) Dic---ad
Celebrate this
AND
Short that stock !
Post the goodbye message
He made almost $40 million last year. No one should cry for him.
Ding dong the witch is dead.
Read the good bye msg, he is not coming back. Pretty clear why. Also pretty clear, I think, that the quarterly results will s--- biggly.
Prediction: Next, one of the CEOs will leave to spend more time with her family. Or fill a vacancy in the WH.
Oracle should just buy Snowflake and put Muglia in charge. He helped to build out Azure before Ballmer fired him. He could even be groomed for the next CEO role since he was Nadella's boss @ MSFT.
Some middle-level technical VP at Amazon whom we've never heard of is about to be a very wealthy person, upon being offered TK's position. Given their anemic track record in the cloud, there is no way ORCL can promote from within on this one.
Just 3 more to go? I am sure many people who are protected by him will have to leave now. How about MH?
Many more layoff is required at high level to save oracle.
He was a very mean leader. May the fleas of a thousand camels infect the crotch of this man.
It going to be hard on that ego!! What is he going to do now?
One gone, 3 more to go.
Health problem? Right. he might be gone lunatic.
WOW. They must be in real trouble.
health problems??? good one. he will never be back and will hopefully end up paying his ill gotten stock sale gains back.
Looks like a sabbatical. I wonder if he is having some health problems?
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/05/oracle-president-thomas-kurian-taking-time-off.html
Thomas Kurian, one of the top executives at Oracle, is taking time away from the company for an unspecified period of time, the company has told CNBC.
"He's taking some time off. We expect him to return soon," a spokeswoman wrote in an email.
Kurian joined Oracle from McKinsey in 1996 and has held his current position, president of product development, since 2015. He has regularly appeared at company conferences. He has been described as "arguably the most important person at Oracle not named Larry Ellison." His twin brother George Kurian is president and CEO of NetApp.
cloud fraud taking them all down.
He had 6 to 7 years to work on cloud products. What they have delivered so far is an absolute embarrassment. There is no way the sales team can keep covering for his incompetence because the sales team now has their own incompetence. Oracle is just moving in the wrong direction. Get off the rudderless, sinking ship while you still can.
Just announced on CNBC. Says he is just taking some time away.
It's true!
If this is true, it could provide a mild deflection from the upcoming Q1 earnings call. Always nice to have a scapegoat when delivering bad news. As of yet, the keynote speakers for Oracle OpenWorld in Ocotber remain unannounced. Usually TK filled on of those slots, as did LE on Sunday evening.
