Textbook managers are not part of wholesale. You are fired for asking a dumb question.
TM = Territory Manager, worked to keep good relations between Follett and IMS stores.
I hope they negotiated 100% return rights for the FMS stores, otherwise they’ll become the new anchor on the company when they can’t just force B2B to eat bad books bought 18 months earlier that no longer have value.
When you say "TM's" do you mean textbook managers in the stores? Are they being cut?

Follett has decided and reached a deal to sell the entire wholesale business unit to Nebraska. By the end of this fiscal year TMs, IMS customer service, and all ADC people will be out of a job.
Dont listen to the lies about Nebraska taking on some of the people. They are in no financial position to create jobs just for the sake of creating jobs.
Over the next months HR will be making their rounds with the folders holding severance paperwork.
Within two years the whole corporation will fold.

I’m always confused with “must be a troll” comments. Company troll? Layed off person checking out the layoff site? Current on payroll using the venue as the water cooler? Most certainly not competitors the great sears strategy is junk bond status

Perhaps the Oompa Loompa and gang of former Follett execs now running NBC will buy wholesale.

So we close ADC and sell off wholesale to someone who can do a better job of providing books to our stores. Sounds like a good move.
After all the purchase of the Nebraska stores was a disaster...the stores were garbage and the undertaking was too much of a challenge for Follett support systems.
Maybe they are going to buy Nebraska Book and use their warehouse.

Big deal, can’t get books from there anyway, have books sitting on the shelves that can’t be sent there. Layoffs? Can’t even get people to work at the bookstore, when I tell them the wage, they say no thank you.
