Who, in their right minds, would hire UX design people from oracle? That won't happen. If they are planning that, it will fail like everything else.

Wherever the layoffs are they will be only Centurylink employees not L3 employees. That’s what the CEO wants to do. And one Broomfield director who she is dropping the axe on all Centurylink employees who will not kiss her butt.

UX will eventually be consolidated and probably spun off as a design agency - it's in the works with JL and HC.

Doc writers have been on the way out for years.

My guess is that Mexico, India and Romania will see hiring increase at a fraction of the cost but centralization in the US will keep the Trump Tax Break Transition Team fans happy.

Jack Berkowitz (VP Adaptive Intelligence) last day is Friday. Steve Miranda's org got clipped hard. Makes sense when you can't close deals or ship product.

POE apps support groups almost eliminated in the US. Almost no one left, including managers, in PSFT, JDE, Siebel in the US. The legacy knowledge/expertise is gone.

All TK org. Many folks that have years of experience or knowledge and will be hard to replace.
