I was reading through "Helpful transition reminders" that I had printed out, and it says Final paycheck will include wages owed, vacation pay, sick pay, ESPP refund.
Can anyone from the earlier final termination dates confirm if sick pay (80 hours ??) was indeed paid out. My final date of employment with Qcom is mid August.
Nonexempt employees receive sick pay at 50% of you pay rate. Exempt employees do not get sick pay.
they paid for sick leave..i was not knowing that ..so i took some sick leaves before i left. but they actually paid...go qcom!
sick pay never gets paid out even for exempt employees. It’s unused vacation that gets paid out
I didn't get s--- but I did get my WFH balance paid.

Unused sick leave is payable only for non-exempt employees.
If you are salaried I don't believe you will get paid for sick leave.
