SOP standard operating procedure
The ex-Sears guy that let go the HO employee with 35+ years is regarded as a bully at HO. This is the workplace culture that has developed at HO.
So what is G4 & SOP? Sounds like something out of the Avengers.
Interestingly enough, rumor is G4 just had a mandatory meeting for managers including a slide show codifying how to execute the SOP replete with skillsoft courses and suggestions for how to structure conversations.
HO employee with 35+ years was let go by Sears guy. Follett will never be loyal to its employees again. It is simply tenure/salary and if you have been here a while you will be gone in the near future.
What happened?
malignancy is removed.

Look at Schwinn Bicycle. Last family members running it s---ed the money out of it until all that was left was the name. Then they sold that.
It's been the evil operating paradigm for going on 5 years now. this is a fecal festival of a company.
I saw some really fine, dedicated employees abused out of job using this exact tactic. Evil like this makes me pine for the day when this maliginancy is removed.
It is still amazing how this has continued to go on this long . When the Suddenly Stupid employee is targeted, every level of management is involved. Home office. GVP's,RM's and sometimes store management. How these people can look at themselves in the mirror after planning on terrorizing a long time dedicated employee with lies and made up crap with the sole purpose of getting them to quit or eventually fired. What a great company!!!
