Remember when the quarterly reports would brag and highlight exploration? Now nothing except appraisal in Alaska. Somebody needs to tell the exploration story here.
Here’s what I saw:
Capital expenditures up because of cost inflation, not more projects.
“Pension settlement expense” because of Leadership pay.
Revenues down because our assets are in tariff challenged areas so our realized prices are low.
Volumes up because BU’s lied during budget time to avoid past punishments, reach easier targets, and get a higher VCIP.
