Academy is a joke
UkEP8MM-Fpue - Let me address a few things (records being sent away or destroyed) * this has been going on for 15 years. No store can hold all records, some have destroy dates, this is a year practice. (accidents going to app for salary,) PC does not fill out information or accidents. Always salary job. If your PC TC is only working on boards. Then they should have not ever been in those positions. (Academy train.) TC never trained DM or anyone in store. Their job was to arrange for training and chase CBLS/Pathways.

Some store have both positions. Smaller stores just have PC and they have to do both jobs.
Writing on the wall, records being sent away or destroyed, accidents going to app for salary, academy's doing the training, associates have to do more and more on their own, less to do with schedule right . The past several months its all been about boards while other duties slipping away. Personnel rumored to go 3rd. party. Other retail giants have 3rd party doing personnel duties Just say when, does anyone know for sure? Post has September but we have heard nothing.

Asm screws a lot of things up not just personnel. Also screws things up in the accounting office.
What is the regional training center is for? I thought the Academies were doing all the training.
I work at Phoenix store - PC got new PC this week :-( ASM have ipads. Also getting a regional training center in a few months. Guess changes are ahead.
No PC and TC are very different. Pc is a level D and TC is a level C
That's interesting. East coast, asm has iPad, orientation completed primarily (doesn't happen) by management. Computer now workstation. PC NHM.
I am a Personnel Coordinator (PC) in AZ. I did not receive a new computer, none of our Asst Mgrs have an iPad or teach classes,, and our Training Coordinator (TC) is still teaching classes. Perhaps they are testing these changes in your area and this is a sign of changes being contemplated for the future.

It's obvious PC is going away. Besides it not being a position to apply for anymore on walmartcareers.com, changes we've seen in processes, has anyone actually been told? Date effective.
Pc will be eliminated
They fix the messes mgt makes! If they are eliminated, we're REALLY screwed.
Here we go... Truth.... TC going away, why do you think your ASM got an IPAD to teach classes, etc... why do you think the TC can no longer do that role?? HELLO.. PC is staying, role changing that is why the PC go the new computer....HELLO pay attention now and retest for Academy failures can ONLY be done by PC and Salary now.... goodnight story tellers of the Mart.
