Sears wants the worker to give 21 day notice for time off, it’s about time they give the worker a schedule 3 weeks out so we can plan appointments better

@qlm - I tried to do that. Tried to request every Tuesday off and was denied for that. And the funny thing, other coworkers of mine would get Tuesday off.
I've even tried to request a singular day off months in advance, and it would get denied. After putting in for the time to attend my nephew's wedding four months in advance and getting that denied a week before it happened, I just called out. When I returned, they had a writeup waiting for me. In the 14 years I've worked here, I've called out maybe three times. I told them to rip it up right where I stood or I am out the door.
If they schdule you to come in and you show up they owe you 3 hours of pay. Or if they call you at home to ask a question they owe you 3 hours of pay. I love when trucks dont show on time. I either get sent home and get paid 3 hours and come back or I get extra hours waiting for the truck.
It is difficult scheduling one week in advance let alone three weeks in some depts.....Backroom especially..... such as when trucks don't show up or are cancelled/rescheduled at the last minute so the unloading/processing crew gets sent home and told to come in whatever day the truck is rescheduled.

@mwf how is that fake news? the balance sheet speaks differently. There is almost no cash on hand
Or you could do what I did. I just filled out my availibility sheet that I wasn’t available to work certain days. That way I can make appointments because I know I won’t be scheduled those days.
