Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

The eTeam Announcement

So today we had the big eTeam announcement where Sean Puntin and Team explained the new eTeam Players and that now AS and TN will be one. I know they made it sound wonderful but how soon will there be layoffs once they determine the redundancy between these two giants. Teams will be merged and the excess will be deleted.......especially in HDQ.

Prove me wrong?

Don't forget that this will also accelerate our infrastructural technical portfolio to a next generation platform of synergistic artificially intelligent microservice enabled quantum computing augmented reality universal singularity.

The auras that these chakra alignments will produce will even eclipse those created from the active release technique onsite chiropractors with or without homeopathic enhancement.

Truly exciting times lay ahead for the future of humanity and the multiverse.

You people do not get it, do you?! This move is bolstering our technology leadership team with additional expertise to further accelerate innovation and underscoring our commitment to lead the industry in partnership with our customers, while solidifying Sabre’s position as the technology platform at the center of the business of travel!

You know, someone says 'whine'. Someone says 'quit'! Seriously!! Regardless of where you are in a career, no one wants to continue to see a company lay-off good people, re-org, lay-off, re-org, in a continous pattern to make sure the yearly budget does not get into a short fall. This is poor management when we see this type of cycle, and the very top should be held accountable and take a real look at their own performance. When a company gets so comfortable with lay-offs as business as usual, that company is not a smart company. So while people have the right to be a little angry, simply because they care, it may sound like 'whining' , however it really is because people care, and want the madness of continuous RIFs to stop. People want to know they work not only for a good company, but a great company that they are proud of. Praying for only the best for Sabre to get it together, and be the company that it once was, not the company known as lay-offs as a quick fix for short comings (re-org). Peace!

Some of you are such whiners. Don’t like it? Quit.

Those of us trying to change things would appreciate that those of you that got us into this web of a mess and aren’t helping to fix it just get out. There is much we can do, if only the people who are coasting around here got out. Good riddens. Sean & E-team, if you are reading this keep pushing.

Just another re-org, the most popular activity at Sabre. An email announcement would have been more than enough, maybe followed by an invite to a town hall AFTER the email went out. Sending out a mystery meeting with less than 24 hours notice was just for added drama and generated unnecessary panic. The joint visits are only to airlines, agencies no longer matter.

Fish is now officially in time out, he better be updating his resume tonight.

'Fireside chat' was very obviously rehearsed, it was painful to watch. Glad to know we have a game show wannabe defining our 'culture'. Tom had few redeeming qualities, but dissing him like that in the first two sentences that come out of your mouth, especially after you've clearly been 'downgraded'?!!??? Dude, you've got to be smarter than that!

One more edition of the illusion act at Circus Sabre on the books , folks!

Nothing will change NDC is the Death of Sabre, we will survive at least 3 more years and we are done.

Let's be honest. One guy from the UK specializes in opening up global shops aka offshoring the hell out of US workers. The E team restructure likely centers around that. Did anyone catch "Fish" will be an individual contributor architect. Is he not CIO now?

What kind of redundancy? My group's work has 2% related to airlines.

The urgency of the meeting was overblown.
