Word on the block is they will be re visiting the DAPL position for its effectiveness. Many markets are in a trial with no DAPL in place just DL performing the pulse checks and audits. Most dapl have no concern or focus on external. 99% controllable shrink internal means a DL perhaps could do just as good of a job. A district leader will be wearing many more hats as time goes on.

It wouldn't surprise me if they got rid of the DAPL position.

The DAPL is going to be worked later this year. The RAPM position will expand and there will be one for each region. They will do investigations and the DL will do audits. DAPLS ARE GOING THE WAY OF THE STORE DETECTIVES and the DODO Bird.
I think we all agree the position is pointless, as they honestly have zero control over the majority of shrink. There watching pennies as dollars walk out the door. For every 1 dollar found by them 99 more walk out the door especially in CA. Shoplifters heaven, anything less than 900$ is a ticket and release
DAPL position has become a joke. It’s just audits BS $30 fraudulent use of extra care program and nonsense RX cases Because the damn pharmacist refuse to do BOH modification reports. The DLs have their plates full, but they end up doing pulse checks in each store anyways. Just save the payroll and get rid of these useless pains in the a**es

Its just a saying “word on the block” get your head out of your a-- and realize that things are changing. My dapl has put his two weeks notice in today, he told me after i passed my audit. He wouldnt tell me why he is leaving but he said Hr made him sign an NDA
