Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Man, people hate working here

Every single person I know who works for Enbridge - and I know quite a few - hates working here. Everybody is looking for a way to leave and half is hoping to be laid off to receive severance.

How badly do you need to f--- up to alienate your entire workforce???

The person I’d most like gone is JH of “Beauty and the Beast” fame. That guy keeping his job was unbelievable. Never met him or worked with him... maybe he’s a nice guy... but you can’t keep a person who makes an epic blunder like that and expect people to believe the company is committed to diversity. Wondering why women are quitting at a much faster pace then men? Start there.

Could be worse. Justin “feminist extraordinaire” Trudeau could be pulling AM’s strings at which point the company would really be in the sh--er. Of course, something tells me Justin would much rather pull on something else of AM’s.

First off, it is no longer IPLE. Management likely realized we need our own team to fully unleash our skills and knowledge to advance Enbridge. We are now just Infrastructure Planning (IP) which freely high lights the unique talents and abilities of the group. It is not prudent to group us with other normal teams as it would lower the average perceived performance of everyone in IP through no fault of their own. And yes, if there is a group that is qualified and poised to take over the company it would be Infrastructure Planning. History has shown that to be successful, a company must be lead by smart management that understand the fundamentals of the business, not just numbers. Infrastructure Planning is home to a wealth of elite talent and subject matter expertise ranging from terminals, mainline, downstream assets and oilsands. These are crown jewel assets that drive Enbridge's financial performance. Just like the talent base in IP leads the performance of Enbridge's most valuable asset..it's people

Even senior employees roll their eyes. The words that come out of their mouths contradict their body language. The board should fire AM and everyone in senior management so ENB can become a decent company again.
