Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

The Mayor Of Schdy said it himself that .....

“We can no longer rely on GE for stable employment in the area” Which means it will become a Bar Shop Plant and everything else will be made overseas. This recently passed agreement in 273 is the biggest scam the company has made. The hall fed into it and screwed over its members by falling for it. By end of 2019 300 employees will be left in 273! Fact!

See this is what I mean people can’t separate fact from fiction. The mayor never said that. He said hopfully ge can remain competitive with these changes. The only person who said anything close to this was an economic advisor. So someone posting on here “facts” when they obviously don’t possess simple reading comprehension skills that a 4th grader should have should not be taken seriously. So let me tell you what the mayor actually said. City councilman Vince Riggi stated he fears Schenectady closing down completely. The mayors response was and I quote “it’s out of left field. There is no basis for even raising that question.” So this guys facts are way off. This page is such a joke. No one researches anything they just talk out their a--.
