It is starting today. I’ve already been searching for opportunities and it seems there are a few out there right now, so keep your chin up as one of the previous posters said. Once you find a new opportunity, you’ll most likely look back and breathe a sigh of relief for no longer being with a company that is struggling like this.
From what I’m hearing, they will let go of the higher paid technical workforce (i.e. experienced engineers), leaving the engineering groups even more overrepresented with inexperienced twenty somethings. It seems they are setting themselves up for a never ending cycle of failure.
What is truly disheartening is that we kept being told that the company was in he upswing up until around May or June, and next thing you know it turns out quite the opposite has been the case. How does this happen?
