Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

401K

I know we are vested at the 3 year mark. Can we leave the following day and keep the vested amount or wait a month? Does any one know?

A rif will automatically vest 401k. We are not talking about pension here doh!!

It’s easy to figure out when you’re vested. Look at your 401k account online at Fidelity Net Benefits. When your account says you’re vested, you’re vested and are free to go and take everything with you.

yes after 3 years you are totally vested meaning you could leave the next day with all the cont. from verizon too.
